Adobe Poker Tournament 2 – RESULTS

Well the results are in and so are the photos. The event went superbly. Everyone seemed to be very excited to be there (more so after a few free drinks). I went out half way through, but both Robin and Ethan from Adobe made it through to the final table, so fueling the rigging accusation, which was evident by the huge stack of chips that Robin had 😉 Naturally, they both donated the winnings to needy developers and designers. Ethan said he’ll post his chosen recipient on his blog shortly. The event was held at the Loose Cannon Poker Club near Cannon Street. I suspect some people had trouble finding the place (if you were one of those please let me know so I can address that next time).

The venue was beautiful: a vaulted catacomb on multiple levels. A huge, open, well lit space that could easily hold 200 people and we’ll probably be using this regularly. Thanks to the club staff for running the event so well (Roy our compare, all the dealers who made everyone feel at ease and explained all the rules repeatedly with good humor and the managers who made it all go so smoothly and were so helpful).

If you have any observations, feedback or suggestions, I will be putting up a feedback from on the site soon and I will email everyone who registered for the last 2 events to get your input.

The last 10 on the final table finished in the following positions:

1. Karim Salah – WINNER
2. Callum Christie
3. Ethan ismann
4. Robert Thurston
5. Paul Evans
6. Alan Nicolson
7. Robin Charney
8. Sam Bellman
9. Martin Burke
10. Iain Lobb
